Challenge 10 from Lori

Well this one was a roadblock and I was the one who had to do this one! Our challenge was to interview our partner with 5 questions and base the layout on her answers...because Jay is not only my partner but my best friend this was actually a great layout! I based it on her favorite things.
Her song of choice is Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson which I included lyrics too on the left hand side. Its her to a tee! I luv ya girl! and thanks so much for being here for me when I need ya and for making me laugh every single day! Click the image to take a closer look!

Challenge 9 from Lori

Here is my challenge 9. I used a photo I had of the Imperial royal family circa 1914.
It has been recolored and tinted and I thought it was perfect for this. Definitly something I am not used to using or working with and I am actually happy with the results.

Challenge #9 from Jay

this one was a hard one for me ~ i'm not into the vintage style (and i don't like working with "you gotta use this, and that, and one of these...." LOL!), but overall, I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.
The two photos are of me and my daughter at almost the exact same age - i couldn't find a good one of her from a few months later when she was missing both front teeth (or one of me when i was only missing one.... lol), and the teachers nowadays don't wrap your lost teeth up in kleenex and tape them to your shirt when you lose them at school, ROFL!
But still... it's pretty scary how much we look alike.
The poor girl...
