Well this one was a roadblock and I was the one who had to do this one! Our challenge was to interview our partner with 5 questions and base the layout on her answers...because Jay is not only my partner but my best friend this was actually a great layout! I based it on her favorite things.
Her song of choice is Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson which I included lyrics too on the left hand side. Its her to a tee! I luv ya girl! and thanks so much for being here for me when I need ya and for making me laugh every single day! Click the image to take a closer look!

Here is my challenge 9. I used a photo I had of the Imperial royal family circa 1914.
It has been recolored and tinted and I thought it was perfect for this. Definitly something I am not used to using or working with and I am actually happy with the results.

this one was a hard one for me ~ i'm not into the vintage style (and i don't like working with "you gotta use this, and that, and one of these...." LOL!), but overall, I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.
The two photos are of me and my daughter at almost the exact same age - i couldn't find a good one of her from a few months later when she was missing both front teeth (or one of me when i was only missing one.... lol), and the teachers nowadays don't wrap your lost teeth up in kleenex and tape them to your shirt when you lose them at school, ROFL!
But still... it's pretty scary how much we look alike.

Challenge 5 was actually really tough for me and that is why its being posted late! It was on time for the race but late for posting here... The next one however -7 was the easiest by far! We are now over halfway done and this has been so much fun for us! We even have our kids getting in on the action by picking numbers between 1 and 10 when deciding who is doing what! I suggest tht if you havent entered and done the race to really try next round cause the prizes are just awesome and it really is such a fun and great time for you and a friend! I adore my partner as you all know and I swear this has been a great hoot for us! Okay on to my layouts...LOL I can hear Jay saying Cmon already ...shaaaatttt up and post the darn things! LMAO

it took me longer than i thought it would to do this LO! i thought it would be EASY, lol! i wanted to find the very first ever layout that i posted, like, ANYwhere, because i knew it would be total crap, lol! so i found it, then it took me three tries to make a new LO i was decently happy with. the photos i used on the original were just AWFUL quality! i don't know what the heck i was thinking....

Challenge #2

Well knock my knickers off this was quite the challenge this round! And damn if it didnt stump us...for a few minutes! 2 creative geniuses like ourselves though we were able to come up with a way to split the layout duties and it actually turned out pretty great! Jay did all the bottom pieces like the BG, and the papers and a few ellies. I put in the pictures some elements and the title and journaling work! Soooo here it is...our take on Cabin Fever. Monkey Business.
